More about me:
I was born and raised in Israel. I studied visual arts In the “Talma Yalin” art school, and then art history and theatrical design in Tel- Aviv university. I worked for many years as a stage and costume designer for theater and dance companies, and also carried out museum and commercial projects. Currently I live and work in the Netherlands. The love of good food and cooking has always been an important part of my life, and now it is also a professional career. Together with my friend and colleague Vardit Kohn I co-wrote and published two special cook books. The first -“Snoep Goed” is about natural sweets and treats. It was published both in the Netherlands (Uitgeverij Pereboom, 2005) and in Israel (Kinneret , 2006). The second book, “Koken in Kleur” is a family cook book that works with natural foods using the colour theme. It was published in the Netherlands (Uitgeverij Pereboom, 2006). Both books are about seasonal, natural, good-for-you food. To give the books a special touch, I suggested making food illustrations, not just the common photographs. You can see the result on this site – hundreds of colourful, vivid illustrations on a variety of themes. In addition to writing, publishing and illustrating, I am also an artist involved in many projects. I recently exhibited my work of art- oil painting and drawing in an art show together with a fellow artist Janice Giarracco. You can view the paintings from that show in under the my art button. |
